This program enables residents to donate a park bench in honor or in memory of an individual, place, or event that is significant to them.
Most parks are able to accommodate benches, and locations are selected by the Township in consultation with donors. The selection of the specific type and style of the bench to be used will be overseen by the Township to ensure consistency, durability, and quality.
Pricing includes installation by the Township on a concrete pad. Bronze plaques may be installed on the pad, but plaques must be provided to the Township by donors prior to installation of the bench. Plaque dimensions should be discussed with the Township in advance. The Township reserves the right to prohibit content on the plaques that it deems to be inappropriate.
