1. Who do I contact to set up my trash service?

Prairie Township doesn't provide trash removal service, nor do we have a required vendor. Learn more about vendors in the area.

• Cartons & Lined boxes
• Flattened cardboard
• Glass bottles & jars
• Metal Cans
• Paper (incl. newspaper, office paper & magazines)
• Plastic bottles & jugs

3. How can I get on the Do Not Knock Registry?

You can add yourself to the Do Not Knock Registry by filling out the online form here: https://www.prairietownship.org/270/Do-Not-Knock-Registry 

This will add you to the list of residents who do not want Solicitors coming to their door. After you register, a notification sticker will be emailed to your address. Place this sticker in a conspicuous place on or near your front door. The registration is good for five years.

4. How can I add an item to the agenda for the Board of Trustees?

Contact the Administration Department for information about adding an item to the Board of Trustees agenda. Trustee meetings are every other Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

6. How do I report a street light out in my neighborhood?

You can report a street light out to the Road Department at 614-878-3316. Please report the street address the light is closest to. Click here for more information.
